What I liked most
The Owlet Dream Sock offers an unusually detailed view of a baby’s sleep, and for some parents that extra information can feel reassuring. The wearable sock is softer and more polished than many medical-looking monitors, the app is clear, and trend data can be interesting for parents who like to understand sleep patterns. Used calmly and within its limits, it can be a sophisticated monitoring tool.
What could be better
The price is high, and more data is not always more peace of mind. Some parents may find the app and alerts increase anxiety rather than reduce it, especially if fit, Wi-Fi or movement affects readings. It also needs careful positioning and charging, and it should never be treated as a replacement for safer sleep guidance or medical advice.
