One thing to know

“Load the spoon for your baby at first, then let them practise bringing it to their mouth themselves.”

What I liked most

The doddl Baby Cutlery Set makes self-feeding feel less chaotic. The short, chunky handles are easier for small hands to control than long baby spoons, and the spoon and fork both feel purposeful rather than token. The travel case is a useful bonus for nursery bags, cafes and grandparents’ houses.

What could be better

The compact design suits early self-feeding very well, but babies who mostly want to chew everything may need close supervision so the cutlery is used for food rather than teething. It is also a small set, so buying a second one may be useful if you want one for home and one for out and about.
