One thing to know

“A good occasional manual pump, but too tiring and variable for frequent expressing.”

What I liked most

The Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump is light, quiet and genuinely portable. It is useful as a backup pump, for occasional expressing, or for parents who want something that does not need charging. The handle action gives reasonable control, the PersonalFit Flex shield is more comfortable than very basic manual pumps, and there are fewer electronic parts to worry about when travelling.

What could be better

Manual pumping is hard work if you need to express often, and output can vary a lot depending on fit and technique. The included shield size will not suit everyone, replacement parts matter more than you might expect, and hand fatigue is real during longer sessions. It is best as an occasional tool, not a daily workhorse.
