What I liked most
The Regatta Kids’ Puddle IV Waterproof Puddle Suit is easy to understand: it is a practical all-in-one for wet nursery mornings, muddy parks and quick garden trips. The waterproof fabric gives decent protection in ordinary rain, and having one suit to pull over clothes is simpler than juggling separate trousers and a jacket. It is also usually priced more gently than premium outdoor brands, which matters when children grow out of waterproofs quickly.
What could be better
The fit can feel a bit stiff and roomy on smaller toddlers, especially once wellies are added. It is not the warmest choice on its own, so layering is needed in colder weather, and the cuffs and zip area can be the weak points in persistent rain or proper puddle play. It does the everyday job, but it does not feel quite as robust as pricier waterproof suits.
