What I liked most
This is a classic first baby book for a reason. The pages are sturdy, the touch-and-feel patches are simple but engaging, and the repeated wording makes it easy for babies and toddlers to join in long before they can read. It is small enough for the changing bag and robust enough for enthusiastic page turning.
What could be better
It is a short board book, so older toddlers may grow out of it quickly if they want more story. The textures are the main attraction, which means it works best as an interactive lap book rather than a bedtime story with lots of plot.
