What I liked most
The Shnuggle Squishy Changing Mat is one of those nursery buys that feels expensive until you use it constantly. The soft foam is comfortable without needing a cover, the raised edges help keep tiny babies more centred, and the wipe-clean surface is far easier to manage than fabric-covered mats after messy changes. It feels stable on a dresser, looks smarter than a cheap inflatable mat, and is particularly good in the newborn stage when little accidents happen mid-change.
What could be better
It is larger and pricier than a basic changing mat, so it needs a suitable surface and budget. Bigger, more mobile babies may eventually outgrow the cosy raised-edge feel.
