The Bugaboo is brilliant for most terrains. I often take my daughter Sara to the beach. It folds into a chariot type position, which allows us to get over the biggest of dunes! Plus although the bag looks small, it's actually pretty huge due to the drawstring closing. For parks, it's fantastic as you can flip the handle so it's forward or backward-facing and the sunshine is never in Sara's eyes. Plus it has a big hood and parasol.
If another mum asked me about the Bugaboo Chameleon I would tell her to go for it! The ability to put it into different positions from full recline to full upright is great. Sara can sit right at table-height when we go to a restaurant and join in with us.
We took it on holiday and used it easily on the beach when other people struggled. Good for shopping because of large basket. It's very sturdy and not mainly plastic like some buggies.
You cannot buy a better buggy, in my opinion. It is expensive, but worth every penny, as this is all you will ever need in a buggy. Mine gets thrown around a lot yet still looks and works like new. The covers also wash well.
The initial cost is a bit painful although I also have the changing bag, parasol, foot muff and travel bag which all cost an extra £250. Plus I love that it's a bit different to look at, very stylish.
This buggy has very good suspension and you can buy different colour fleeces to update the look. It has the best turning circle of all of the prams I played with before buying and has a wrist strap which I use when bumping up and down stairs on the tube. It is safer in pushchair mode than carrycot as you can strap your child in.
I have used it off-road through streams, gravel and sand and it is no bother. It also adapts easily without much effort. The price tag is eye watering but considering what it is capable of doing I have no hesitation in recommending it.
I use mine daily with my two-year-old little girl. It is lovely chattering away to each other, or if she is being nosy she can face outwards over the handle bar by adjusting the seat position. It is extremely light at 9kgs and the best comfy ride your little one can have. I love it!
It has taken us from babyhood right through to toddlerhood without a single problem. I used the carrycot as a Moses basket in the early days which was very handy. The Maxi-Cosi car seat easily clips right on it which is fantastic as my baby doesn't wake up. Plus the tyres are air-filled so no bump is too big!

you pay for what you get and this is the aston martin of prams!!! as hbk2006 says it is a pram for all terrains, and all occasions, the whole of the seat strips off and can be washed and comes up lovely. the brake is excellent as its on the handlebar!! i take mine on the bus and can fit it in a tiny micra so it really is versatile!!
