Baby Names and Meaning

What's the most unique baby names that you have heard of? And what is your baby's name? I have two little girls, one is 2 years old and the other is 3 months old. My 2 year old's name is Alazné - it means "Miracle" and my youngest's name is Zanaide - it means "Oath to God/ Pledged to God" .

Well I have to say that I really like the names that you chose. They are very strong and I love it when the names have good meanings attached to them. We went the more traditional route and stuck with Biblical names just because that is a family thing, but I did want to go a little more non-traditional but it did not work that way.

I think the most unique name I've heard was when I was working at an after school care facility, one of the girls there was named Cinnamon! She just went by Cin for short but it was certainly unique!

Also at the same place there was a boy called Anferny...like Anthony, but spelled Anferny...

I have threw daughters and a son on the way. My eldest daughters name is Sevita Ellaine. Sevita meaning beloved and ellaine is a mix of my dads middle and step moms name. My second daughters name is Selena Joy. Now to be honest I named her after Selena the singer (90's singer) it sounded right and fit my theme I have going on. My third daughter name is Sephina Marie. I really liked the name Sephina and Marie is a mix of my name and hubbys name. Ok so my sons name will be Sean Sedrek.

My son has a tribal name; Onoriode which means 'Who knows Tomorrow?' It is a reflection of God being the only one who knows tomorrow. Though we do not call him by that name but he goes by Robin which means 'Famous One'.
