I have recently done an ultrasound and the doctor saw something in my lower abdomen. Something solid or swollen i dont know. He didnt say if it is dangerous but he did say he was concerned while looking at it but said nothing more on the matter.

Now its been nawing at me. What could it be? It does hurt to move in different ways? Can this hurt my baby or have an affect. Have anyone of you went through something similiar? Please i would love feed back on this. Thanks

I don't think you need to worry. I had pelvic pain from 7 months till delivery. In fact, during scanning, there was a cyst that was detected but they assured me it would dissolve before delivery. I'm sure whatever the doctor saw will dissolve before delivery.

Try practicing kegel and I'm sure the pain will relieve you.

Hmmm... He didn't say what is it exactly? As @darkchild said, it could be a cyst. But of course, it needs to tested of what kind of cyst it is. Some cysts do go away on their own so there's nothing to worry about. If the cyst is growing though, that's when you would need to have it removed. In any case, only a doctor can tell you if the cyst is indeed growing.

In most cases, it's just a corpus luteum cyst. It's the same cyst that every female develops during her menstrual cycle. It begins as an egg sac and then dissolves after. If it doesn't dissolve, it fills with liquid which can rupture during or after pregnancy. It is safe though so don't worry.
