I would just like to share my happiness. After three daughters my hubby and I will be blessed with a boy. It is only 80% chance of being a boy but i will go on that. My prayers have been answered. I am so excited its going to be a very new experience for me.

Haha i feel ready to give birth. A new overwhelming happiness and strength. GOD is great. Smile

Congrats on the boy! I too know how you feel after coming from a family with all sisters. And then all my sisters had girls. And then my first two were girls as well. Finally my husband and I had our first boy. And the first boy in the whole family on my side! He is truly a blessing from god and there has been lots of interesting things along the way raising a boy! He is my one of a kind. And poor little thing has to deal with all this sisters teasing him.

How exciting! Congratulations! I only have one daughter but I feel like I am so used to parenting a little girl now that having a boy is hard to imagine!

I'm very happy for you that you will be able to experience having a son!

Thank you so much. I was really cheering for a boy this pregnancy. But practically speaking I would still be ok with a girl since I have clothes and stuff for little girls. So I am excited to go.baby shopping again. I feel nervous because it feels like a new experience I do not know how I would care for a boy.

Thanks Josie. I am excited and wondering what it will be like to have a son. I love my girls and am use to having only girls. Having a boy will be really new to me. I honestly feel clueless now that I know I will be having a son. My partner is finally contented to have his boy as well. Even though our son was not planned he is a most certianly a welcomed surprised.

Congrats! I only have one child and he's a boy.Smile Well... I don't really know what it's like to have a baby girl so I don't know the difference. But to be honest, my son's super sweet and he likes hugs and kisses. On the other hand, he loves rough play as well so expect running, slapping, punching, hitting and all that. Haha! I think your husband's going to love having a son as well because my son loves his dad very much. When his father's not around, he goes "Papa? Papa?" all day long. Lol. Good luck!

Congratulations on the girl. I come from a family of all girls. I have two sisters and my one sister had three girls and my first child was a girl. That was okay with me since I did not have any experience with little boys. Well my second child turned out to be a boy and I was really hoping for another girl because of the special bond I had with my daughter. I was afraid it would not be the same and that I did not know how to take care of a boy. I have to say that my fears were unnecessary because I have such a great bond with my son as well as my daughter. They are different but I would not trade either one for anything in the world.

Congratulations to you!
Though child's gender doesn't really matter much to me, I think taking care and bringing up boys and girls are different experiences. Both are wonderful. I am glad to be able to experience these, as I have a boy and a girl, though some said boys give mothers more headache, I think boys can be very sweet and lovely too!

Moreover, your little boy will have three elder sisters to help taking care of him, he'd be really lucky and joyful as well.

Thanks everyone. It really will be a challenge for me as I do not have an idea in how to take care of little boys. But I am looking forward to it and meeting my son. I have no doubt that I will have a bond with my boy but I just won't really know what to do with him lol. My girls can be a headache so I don't think he can out do them. But I have never looked at it as his sisters taking care of him more like he will look after his sisters and keep troublesome boys away hahaha. Oh the joys of parenthood. What a son like anyway? How do you clean them? I feel like I am clueless in this.

My first child is a boy, and I had no experience in taking care of babies or any kids before. I am glad my mother-in-law is a babysitter, and my husband knows how to take care of babies and kids. So, he has been teaching me a lot.

Even until today, there are still some questions I'd like to ask my husband, as he might understand better about boys. So, perhaps it's good get your husband to help. Moreover, I think father is always a good role model to a boy, especially when he grows a bit older, though he might still like to be around with mother.

You'll surely get used to it soon. Smile
