Before or after your due date?

I'm wondering how many of you ladies went into labor before your due date, and how many went over!

I was expecting to go overdue - I have a long family history of babies being a week or so late! Imagine my surprise when my little one decided to come 8 days early! I know it's not all that early, but I was just so convinced she would be late that it shocked me a bit!

What about you? Did your little munchkin (or munchkins if you have more than one!) arrive arlier or later than your due date?

My first was three days overdue. My second was a week early (due to C-section). My first one, my daughter, my doctor had me take prim rose oil capsules, have sex, take walks, and eat pineapple. It helped me from being really overdue I think. She was almost nine pounds and so was my second. I can't imagine how huge my son (my second baby) would have been if I didn't have to have a C-section with him!

For both I went into labour on my own two weeks over! Both minutes before I lost my ever lovin' mind lol.

Oh gosh! Josie, you're a saint - hitting 42 weeks would have absolutely made me lose my mind! I was so ready to be done when I was getting close to the end!

No going over due date for me, that's for sure! My daughter was due on September 27 and was born on August 20... five weeks premature. I always thought I was rather lucky with that... although I'm sure I wouldn't have felt that way if she would have had any problems... we're fortunate that she didn't, and I know that.

I have 3 children, and I was not early with any of them. My first was a couple days after the due date. My son came a week after and my daughter, my last, I had to be induced and water broke manually! None of my children weighed over 6 1/2 lbs. They were all small babies, so I wasn't in risk of them being too big to come out on their own. They were just all stubborn lil boogers. When you get in your last few weeks, you really just want the "tenant" to vacate the property as soon as possible!

My eldest son was two days before the due date, but I had to go through emergency C-section at last. For my second child, doctor told me the last day I could try for natural birth was on the due date, but my girl didn't have any sign to want to come out even on the due date, so I had to go for C-section again.
Now I am pregnant with my third child, I was told I do not have any other choice but to go for a scheduled C-section, so it'll be 1-2 weeks earlier than the due date.
