Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Hey, did you guys get a chance to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens yet? If not, and you even remotely like Star Wars, then I suggest you see it asap! It continues the story several decades after the events in Return of the Jedi. It is a rare treat to see some of the original characters return in this film. Just in case you don't know who they are, I won't spoil it for you. Get out there and watch the movie!!

I did and I liked it. I think it was because I went into it knowing that it would be a little cheesy, a little corny, and have some of those same one liner jokes that the original had, and I was okay with that. I did go to the 3D one so that did add a little excitement, but I just thought that the plot was true to the original and it had enough special effects to keep it interesting. I cannot wait for the other ones to come out.
I saw it over the Christmas break with my husband and six year old. He absolutely loves Star Wars and he was not disappointed with the movie. He knows all the main characters and sat through the entire movie just glued to the screen. I loved that all the original actors came back to make appearances. A great movie! Definitely a must see.

I am a die-hard Star Wars fan and so are my kids. I am embarrassed to say that I have not seen it episode seven yet. I was so excited before it premiered but then with travelling over the holiday season, and then getting the crew back to school and all, time just flew by. So here I am, many weeks later, dodging anything close to a spoiler because I'm bubbling inside with anticipation. My Friday movie night routine resumes this Friday and The Force Awakens is on the menu.
We saw it on New Years Eve and I really liked it. My husband wishes they had more light saber fight scenes, but he enjoyed it too. I'm glad they are continuing the story, and I like that they sort of left of hanging at the end. It definitely provided plenty of conversation for the rest of the evening after we left the theater!
I must be one of the minority in the entire world, I think...I haven't actually seen ANY Star Wars movies. Not a single one!
My husband on the other hand is a die-hard fan of the movies...but he just goes to watch it with his mates! That way they can chat about the movie afterwards and rave about how good it was...I would just be sitting in the cinema with him like "who is this person? what are they doing?" which would drive him nuts I'm sure!
I wasn't too overly impressed about the movie. There was a lot of hype surrounding it and that's it was hype. To me the new movie didn't have the old star wars feel to it. There were scenes in the movie that I felt were poorly done and the ending really disappointed me. There were some great scenes and not so great scene so to me this release was a bit disappointing.
I watched it last night, I never got it with star wars

I did watch it few days after its release. I really enjoyed the movie, it was definitely better than Clone Wars or Phantom Menace. Disney did good with that one. I did not watch Rouge One though - I cannot apply a decent explanation here, I just didn't came across the opportunity to watch it I guess. Did you guys watch it?

I've read some mixed reviews of this movie, but when I watched it with my kids, it was quite entertaining.

Yeah, it is entertaining for kids, but as for the adult SW it's not that good
