Caught my son masturbating, now he won't talk to me

i came home early last week and could hear loud music coming from my living room. when i entered there was my 16 year old son laying naked in the middle of the room masturbating.

he saw me immediately got up swore at me and ran to his room crying. i followed him upstairs, but when i got there he had locked his room and would not let me in. i tried to talk to him but between the crying all he could say was "go" away!"

i went and made myself a cup of tea and tried to think what to do. after a few minutes i tried to talk to him again but i got the same response.

this has gone on for a week now. whenever i come home he immediately leaves the romm and with out looking directly at me goes to his room.

i need to talk with him and settle things down, i think i know what has to be said, but how do i get through to him? any ideas ?

yep almost did that, but a friend suggested to send an email . I made a few comments about it being normal and the odd "confession" and it worked... we are talking again
