Hi
My name is Imran and I am a final year student at Loughborough University. For my major project, I am looking at how a child's (aged 3-5) speech can be developed through the act of drawing by enabling them to add sounds and narration to their own drawings. The aim is to encourage a natural link between drawing and storytelling, and as such, help children expand their vocabulary.
It would be great if I could get some feedback on children's current drawing habits i.e. where children like to draw? Do they have their own desk? Do they prefer to use desk/draw on the floor/on an easel/etc.? Do children like talking about their drawings? - These are just some questions to get you started, if you have any other observations that you could share, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
