If your child suffers from an allergy, you know how much of a worry it is.
My son suffers with a peanut allergy.
How do you ensure your child stays safe when at playgroup/school/parties and exposed to potentially life threatening foods?
We can't wrap them up in cotton wool for their whole life but where should you draw the line?
Would love hear your thoughts about this : )

My boy's dont have any food allergys that we are aware of. My youngest is nearly two and is yet to try certain foods so i guess only time will tell. My smallest son's kindy has a strickt no nut policy as they have a few students that are very sensetive to certain foods, they also have two epi-pens in case of an emergency.
I guess you would always have to inform other people that your child suffers from this allergy or to be safe just stay with them when they attend partys etc,im pretty sure there are allergy bracelets available also.
goodluck.
Thanks jo-jo
I agree, it's about educating people around you i guess.
I have actually looked at a few allergy bracelet sites. It's a great idea, there's a wrist band called Mediband that looks great for kids.
Has anyone else had experience in using Medical ID's?
Keeps Me Safe is nice, loads of choice and really easy to navigate.
