Am not in really deep debt. Am in debt by 10 grand. Luckily am still at my parents with my daughter. Am still waiting to get a house through the council and start to feel like a proper family with my daughter. I have another 4 years before am out of debt. I dont want to declare bankrupt (i ken i maybe over exaggarting there) because i'm thinking to much about my credit rating etc etc.

The way am looking at it is that theres people who are worse off in debt than me who get by. I ken my reply aint helpful but just wanted to let you know that your not alone. Kiss

Your best first step would be to speak to somebody like citizens advice. The next thing is to make sure that you pay the mortgage even if that means other bills such as credit cards etc don't get paid.
With something like a credit card you could possibly phone the company and tell them there is a problem. They would freeze the card and you could arrange a repayment plan even if it is something small like £20 per month, alternatively a debt consolidation loan.
I don't know your situation, nor am I a financial advisor but go and talk to citizens advice as step 1 as they are independent and will point you in the right direction. Take all the appropriate information such as income and details of all debt. Remember as long as you pay the mortgage and any other loans secured against the house they can't take it from you.

Go to the CAB and never ever ever go to one of these debt companies that advertise - they will charge you and there are plenty of companies, charities etc that will help you without making money from your situation. The best thing is to talk to someone, that is the first step........

hey, I went to the cab and they have given me a list of no profitable websites to go through. So I am in the middle of going through them now I will let you know how I get on.
