Pain during sex!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Could anyone offer me any advice as I am going out of my mind with worry!!

I have just had a baby girl 10weeks ago(Eva shes gorgeous and perfect)but during my pregnancy at approx 6months it became so sore during sex, and my husband and I have been unable to ever since!!! At around 6months into my pregnancy I had a small bleed and in the hospital they did swabs and internals and found nothing!!! Last week I went to the docs again and she used a speculum to do an internal. It went fine but when it opened inside I was in agony!! She said its prob nothing n I should wait and see wat the swabs show, but as i have had them done a few times throughout my pregnancy I no i will get no answers here. I was also tested for STIs before i conceived.I have now been referred to a gynacologist but will have to wait a few months and I am beside myself with worry> Think its gonna spoil my 1st xmas as a mummy. My hubby is so supportive but no sex for 7months is depressing for us both. I should say i had a C section at 9cm dilated as eva was breech!! And i dont particularly have any other side affects- no bleeding, no pain when i pee, not particularly smelly discharge or tummy pains. I had a couple of warts on my genitals during pregnancy but they have all gone now. I have read online that it could be endemetriosis or cysts, which can make u infertile or it could be vaginal cancer!! Please tell me if u think this could be the case Im so worried as i want loads more kids!!! sorry for this being so long winded and TMI .Thanks for ur helpXXXX

hey honey try not to worry it wont help as i keep getting told worrying just makes it worse i have had the same problems since having my fist 4years ago it doesnt allways hurt and the type of pain changes it is hard i find myself having to stop mid session sometimes it's also hard as i am always horney. I have had mine looked at over and over again and to no avail, i hope you get somekind of answer ( i was just told it could possibly be that the linning of the vagina deteriates and makes the area tender and told to try painkillers 2 hrs before sex like you can plan it)

Thanks for that. I hope ur right!! Very unromantic though painkillers 2hrs before sex ha didnt realise thats wat they meant wen they said ur sex lives deteriorates after babies come along. Just called docs for results of high vaginal swab and it was clear. I should be happy but im not I wanted them to b able to tell me wat it is. Looks like im just gonna have to wait to c the gynocologist in the new year. My mum has just told me its common n could be a muscular problem? Anyway Il keep u posted Thanks for ur adviceXXX

I had a lot of discomfort when we 1st attempted intercourse when Jess was about 6 weeks old (she's 7 1/2 months now) and the nurse said it could be as a result of me breastfeeding Jess as it naturally stops production of oestrogen which caused me to 'dry up'.

They advised me to use an oil-based lubricant as opposed to water-based, that helped us.

me and my now ex had tried to have sex when i was pregnant but in the end we gave up as i found it uncomfy and sore. Once louise was born at the end of july this year, we did try to have sex again but didnt rush into it as i had to get stitches. when we did have sex it was sore. eventully it didnt hurt and that was around october.
