He is a supposedly a big boy right now so gowing full term... we shall see. I want him to be healthy and stay as long as he can though. Kelsey came at 32 weeks. But my Sis seems to have noo troubles.
So you are a halloween baby1 haha... neat! yes Kaydon may join you...
Thank you... Kel is on Augmentin... a very tough antibiotic. Double ear infections, and a HORRIBLE cough. And On breating treatments which she absolutely hates doing... but needs. She has inherited my asthma
I hate seeing her so miserable.

Hallowe'en looks much more fun in the US, it's so basic over here
I would love to have a birthday in the US one year just to soak up the atmosphere! Jeremy wanted to run the New York marathon which is around the beginning of November so hoping we could make it a weekend break one year!!
Hope Kelsey is feeling better- Jer's niece was admitted to hospital last weekend with pancreatitis which she's inherited from her dad but she's on the mend now. She had her 1st meal in 4 days last night.

Awwwwwwwww bless her heart! My grandfather sadly passded away from pancreatic cancer. It was horrible. I surely hope your darling niece is back up and recovered in no time. That food should have made her very happy!
Well, tomorrow is 32wks for our Mr. Kaydon Jake and that is another milestone as I delivered Kel at 32wks and here she is... a happy little girl!
My sis had an appmt this week and our little man is measuring 4lbs at this point... he is going to be a big boy!
She is thinning out some already but no dilation to speak of. If he goes full term... Nov 2... we will have a football player. Oh boy! yes OH BOY!
It is doubtfull he will go fullterm because Sis has been having mild elevated BP... they are watching.
Kelsey-bug is feeling a bit better. She has to do daily nebulizer treatments which she finally has settled into (with a little bribing!)haha. So she is doing better and MOMMY is not freaking out with her breathing and coughing fits... they have lessened... but I am up every hour at nite checking to see if she is ok...
how sad is that?
I have rest up now before our miracle gift my sis has carried for us arrives.

Just seen this and what alovely gift your sister is giving you. Hope Kelsey continues to improve and her asthma settles down and becomes brilliantly controlled for you very soon. I know how hard it is dealing with a child wih asthma my RB has cronic asthma and in the winter and summer he is always worse and has tohave 3 inhalers and nebuliser twice a day dueing these sessions. He also inhertited his asthma from me and I hated myself for giving him it. Huge hugs to you and the things we have to go though with our children is so hard sometimes but they are so worth it.

Fern is back home now and eating loads!! The dietician has met up with Jer's sister to discuss what she should be careful with but it's basically what we should all be careful with anyway- low fat, everything in moderation
Glad Kelsey is feeling better, are you getting a bit more sleep at night now? Won't be long and you'll be getting up every hour again with Kaydon!
Hope your sister is feeling ok too, I had raised BP on all 3 pregnancies but not until the last couple of weeks leading to term- had medication this time with Jessica, but I don't think I really needed it- just docs being careful.
thanks ladies.....
Kel is 21 months and she is being such a trooper but it really is hard for her to do the breathing treatments twice a day... especially at night when she is so tired. And she still is waking at night coughing so I am having some troubles and have to sit up with her... because I have to try to get her to use her inhaler and she is half asleep, coughing and crying. Oh, and yes the guilt thing kills me because she got this from me.
Anyway... my sis only has mild elevated BP at this point so it is just being watched but our boy is growing!!!! fast!!! So that is why he will they will be inducing her at 36-37wks. Hoping things will settle down with Kel's asthama more ASAP. I hate this.

Soemhting I was taugt to do with RB when he was smaller and I still use this technique with him when I need to too is instead of using the volumatic/spacer with the inhalers which is big and bulky and makes the issue worse for them use a paper cup. Just cut a small hole in the bottom of it big enough to fit the inhaler in and hold it to make sure it has a closed sear around there mouth and nose and spray in the inhaler into the cup. It works a treat and with RB he seemed to relax and not wriggle and fight as much. I also stcuk a wedge under his mattress so that he slept on a 15% angel which also seemed to help him at night. Have they refered Kelsey to a pedeatric respiratry consultant? RB has just been discharged from the consultant at the hospital but we can still contact him if we are concerned about him in the future.
Oh thats a great ideat... I think I will try this will Kel because part of the problem is all these parts are frightening her. Perhaps this will calm her a bit. Thanks for the tip hun.
