My little one (8 months old) has just taken to screwing her eyes up very tightly. Now, I understand her doing this occasionally when eating due to new flavours and textures that could be a bit 'sharp' for her palate.
However, she's now started doing it quite a bit during the day, outside of mealtimes. I know that this behaviour can also indicate a bit of a sensory overload at times and wonder if this is happening with her? She gets a lot of my attention and played with a great deal, plus walks in her pram and lots of outdoors time together. I do try and ensure she has a morning nap (about an hour) then a sleep after her lunch (about 2 hours). She's a good sleeper and now goes to bed about 7pm and doesn't get up until nearly 7am.
I'm wondering if I need to give her some more quiet time during the day?
Has anyone else encountered this and could offer some advice? I'm tried googling it but nothing much came up other than that I know already (and some porn sites - LOL).
Thanks everyone.
