One of the hardest things I have had to do

Crying

Josephs guinea pig was poorly back at the end of April but he seemed to get better from it but because I had seperated the 2 piggies I kept them seperated. I cleaned them out as normal on Sunday but noticed last night that one (the one who had been ill in April) hadn't eaten or drunk very much since Sunday. This morning I looked in on them and I thought he was gone (but he just looked at me like I had woken him up from a good sleep) tonight he looked no better so Mum and I took him to the vets, Joseph stayed with Grandad. Well the vet said he was very poorly (and the infection he had had in April had probably never gone away) and he was in a lot of pain. We agreed that the best thing to do was to put him to sleep Crying

I then had to come home and tell Joseph, it was horrible. He is so good at looking after them, never needs reminding to feed or water them, enjoys cuddles with them and loves cleaning them out. Poor wee man is away to bed devestated.
