Well after moaning to all of you about being uncomfortable and fed up with everything, I had a rant to my consultant this morning as my SPD has become rather severe and I am pretty much crippled.
He was so lovely and he and mw examined me and discovered that the reason behind this weekend being so horrible is down to my little boy deciding that he was going to come back out of my pelvis (was almost fully engaged) and turned himself back to back.
My consultant is not happy with the amount of pain I am in and says SPD is unusual in first pregnancies (news to me) so he doesnt want me to go over my due date. So little man has 8 days to turn back round and get back down and come out himself or I will be induced next Tues.
I am terrified as he said my chances of a c section will go up and my water birth plan has gone out of the window if labour doesnt start naturally. I am spending most of my time either on all four's or bouncing on my ball in the hope that he makes some progress but if anyone manages to read this b4 the sight crashes, please keep everything crossed for me and maybe a little prayer (not sure if I believe but it cant hurt) that my baby decideds he wants to do this on his own.

samtiffYour SPD sounds like a nightmare. I hope you are able to get some rest. 
As for getting an actual date - then that is cool although nerve wracking and I realise the water birth thing being out the window is a pain. I am keeping everything crossed for you (apart from my legs and I want my little baba to get out here so I don't want to block the way!!!) that you get him to turn himself back around so you get the birth you want but I think there are pluses for both.
If he turns you get the birth you want - YAY
If he does not you know exactly when he will get here and you don't have the is it starting / when will it start / please start that I am going through now.
