new but need advice!

hi all, im new on here but need a bit of advice..
i have a 28 days cycle, and im not due til next monday/tuesday, the last few days ive had AF type cramps, and headaches.
i took a clearblue yesterday and got a positive, but i took another 1 this morning and got a negative..
any advice wud be appreciated

it is extremely rare to get a false positive. the only reasons r usually a recent mis carriage or termination. it is a little early to tell yet but i would either buy one of those first response tests as they pick it up earlier.if that comes up negative leave it a few days, see if you come on and take it from there. x

I agree with Casey, I think First Response are much more accurate and can give you a result earlier than the Clearblue. YOu could also go to the gp and give them a sample, they will be able to do it for you for free.

i once was told by a doc u can have a negative and still be preg but u cant have a posative and not be come hormone will only release and give u a posative if u r preg babe so if i were u wait till u r due do another and go to the docs babe

Yeah I agree. Get yourself a really good test and try again. Does sound hopeful though as I've never heard of somebody getting a false positive and I reckon the second test you did was probably faulty, which would account for the negative result.

I think you need to try another test hun. It sounds like one of your tests was faulty. Maybe it's a good idea to wait until the day you are due just to make sure you have the correct reading. Fingers are crossed for you xx
