well ave got an appoitment at the hospital tomorrow (wednesday)the anaesthetic Obstetric review In the letter it says your obstetrician has requested to see me....its for during or shortly after childbirth.
Is this if something goes wrong or if i need to have a section. Bearing in mind am a big lass size 20/22.
Anyone any ideas or that?? No bothered how long it takes..getting outta work for a wee while. Thanks in advance.
Hey hun i have no clue what this is for! Only thing i can think of is if they are trying out the mobile epidurals that are fairly new and are maybe looking for candidates. I shouldnt imagine its because your a big lass as you put it i aint no skinny minny but dont recall an anaesthetic review with last pregnancy.

I think we are all seen by a consultant because we are miles away from the nearest consultant led unit (40minutes on one direction and an hour in the other) and we have to be aware incase we need to be transferred or induced- which has to be in a consultant led unit up here.
well it was only to discuss what drugs are avaliable etc. Told me if i was to have a c section what drugs they would use and how they put the drugs in me (in my spine) etc etc
