Really proud of my little munchkin

Joseph has been going to swimming lessons for 18mths now and loves it. The only thing he will nopt do is put his head under the water. In January I had enough and started paying for 1:1 lessons every fortnight for him on top of his normal Saturday lesson. The lady has worked really hard with him 'washing his face' and blwing bubbles kinda thing but it hasn't really paid off. Until last week when he started blowing bubbles as he was doing front crawl during his group lesson. And yesterday was the best, he has never jumped in because his face would get wet and would sit on the side and slide in, not yesterday he steped off the side and went under the water and mummy missed it but he got a 2nd go so I could see. I think he will now be off with his swiimming well done Joseph.


Now to work on the bike!!!

You must be so happy. I understand because Summer has just started her third term of lessons and is just as good as the others but WILL NOT put her head in the water. We have tried many tactics but to no avail. The time will come, but it hasn't yet. However when we took her swimming in the Easter holiday she jumped in properly and confidently for the first time.
Well done to Joseph, it is a big deal for some children and I can sympathise as I wont get my face wet.
