I was told yesterday morning that my midwaife thinks my baby is back to back and it has really freaked me out!! I have spent all the time since then being on all fours, rocking on my birth ball, lying on my left side and not once lying back but I haven't felt him move round. How do I know if he's turned? Will my bump look / feel different? At the moment it squishes easily when I poke my belly button and movements are felt very low down in middle but I've got what feels like a back all the way down my right side.
i'm confused and really scared of a back to back birth! Please tell me what you know about it!
Joseph was back-to back and despite doing the techniques MW suggested he never turned so I can't tell you what to expect if he does turn. Really hope he turns for you.
Conrad was back to back also but it wasnt spotted until 19 hours of labour had passed and waters had broken so unfortunatly I ended up having a emergency c-section as he was very distressed and labour failed to progress, but it is possible to succesfully give birth to a back to back baby as they can suggest positions during labour that can help baby come out without a problem,
