Hi, I'm new to this forum and could really do with some advice.

I'm currently 4 weeks 3 days late. My last period was 17th February. The period I missed should have been on 17th March and the period I was due after that, this months, was due on 14th April. I have also had a little bit of browny/red discharge but it wasn't much.

Should I do a pregnancy test now or wait another week to see if I have this months period?

Me and my Fiance have not actually been trying for a baby which is why we have not done a test yet and I am also on the Pill. Do I stop taking the tablets or should I wait until I have done a test?

Any advice would be much appreciated, thankyou in advance.

Get that test taken or we wont stop nappging at ya Razz

Seriously though, it is in yours and your potential baby's best interests to get tested as soon as possible. As for 'knowing' that you are pregnant, I didnt with any of mine until I had missed my period.

Let us know how you get on

Not done a test yet, had a day researching pregnancy symptoms etc. By the time I decided I wanted to do one it was night time and can't get anywhere to buy one.... so.... had a look on the internet and found some that say next day delivery but I doubt if I ordered one it would show up first thing tomorrow morning as it is 22:44 now.

Starting to really panic now and wish I had a test here. Tomorrow I think I will be hunting one down.

Bryn (Fiance) has also started to worry alot. He's gone really quiet and is obviously troubled. Tried talking to him but he isn't saying much. He said he had mentioned it to his sister a couple of weeks ago and that she had said to get a test done (he didn't tell me until today, lol). He said he hadn't told me because we have had pregnancy scares in the past and it turned out to be a false alarm. This time though he said it seems different... ie: he thinks I am pregnant.... only one way to find out and I wanna do it now!

I'm getting really excited now and really nervous. I hope the tests arrive tomorrow. Will be really disappointed if they don't! Managed to prepare myself to take them.

Had a bit of a moan before to my fiance (Bryn). Just blurted out all my thoughts and feelings to him, fears and hopes. To be honest I contradicted myself alot. Guess I've got a lot of mixed feelings about the outcome since if I am pregnant it isn't planned.

I decided I am well and truly against abortion.... well, I say well and truly against it, but I suppose it's each to their own... (I don't judge people if they want one/had one)
So, in that case, my personal preference is... I couldn't go through with one myself, be it abortion or adoption.

So, that means that if I am pregnant, I'll keep it, which is where I start to worry about how we will support him/her. We live in a council flat at the moment. Both of us are in between jobs (fat chance I'll get one now, IF I'm pregnant) and even though we're both in our twenties, I'm not sure our parents will approve (even though I suppose it's nothing to do with them/their decision)

I believe that everyone will get pregnant when the time is right, when they're meant to get pregnant, when the gift of a child is supposed to be given to you.

But like me, I don't feel secure enough. I have doubts whether now would be the right time to have a baby (if I'm pregnant). At the same time I think, 'how do you know when the time is right?', 'what if I miss my time by giving it up?'

As you can probably all see, everything I have said is a contradiction, one way or another, but this is everything I'm thinking and feeling. Is this normal? I don't know, lol.

Sorry if I have offended anyone in anyway, I didn't mean to.

Guess I just needed to ramble on to someone, I appologise if I've bored you, lol!

Byeeeee!

Everything you are thinking and feeling is totally normal. No one is going to be offended by anything you have said. I can understand worrying abuot supporting your baby. I was 19 when I got pregnant with Josh, and although my husband was working we still worried about lack of security. Try not to get too worked up, easier said than done i know! Let us know how the tests go

Really disappointed today. Kept waking up in the night needing a wee and decided not to go in case the tests turned up. By the time the postman came I was desperate... and the tests didn't even arrive! Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow! *Sigh*

Don't worry, I've already decided that I have to know tomorrow. If they don't turn up I'm off out to find some! Can't be doing with the waiting anymore... it's starting to seem surreal and I don't want that until I know the result (if that makes sense?!?!?!? Suspect )

Not sure if I'm just totally panicking and sort of in denial or if deep down I know I'm pregnant and preparing myself for the result, if positive, (again I'm not sure if that makes sense, sorry).

It's starting to drive me mad though.... I keep noticing I have my hand on my belly or my arm over it, I've started to flinch at quick movements in case I get bumped or fallen into (protecting my stomach I suppose), it's as though I am pregnant... but I don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me because it's playing on my mind.

I'm not feeling sick, I'm feeling more hungry though and I get annoyed if I don't eat. I can't see any difference in the size of my breasts and they don't seem sore or more sensitive. I'm not sure if my stomachs starting to bloat or if it's just because I've been eating more, or just my imagination. Again, I'm starting to feel tired in the evenings but I have also started to get up earlier and I have also just got an allotment.

All these are symptoms but I'm not sure if it's due to being pregnant or just changing habits. I'm soooo confused....

I really need to take a test and I can't wait until tomorrow!!!!
