starting to get scared now

Harrison is 14 months old and i am due my next one on June 8th, so there will be only 18 months apart

I know 2 is going to be alot harder then one, but how do you all cope with taking 2 out by your selves? Or do you stay in now?

Maybe i am just starting to have a panic. I can not wait for number 2, but scared stiff at the same time

Any advice appreciated

Aww hun, i think you are having a little panic! lol. Kiss

It really isn't easy and i am not going to pretend that it is but you will soon get used to it honest. I have a slightly bigger age gap - 2yr and 12days with mine. I would say get yourself a decent double buggy. Preferably as small as possible too. As it isn't easy pushing them round the shops. I gave up with mine and din't use it much at all but with H at only 18mth i think you will have more use for it than me. Organisation is key! If you are going out first thing, make sure you have everything ready for the morning before you go to bed. ie. bag packed with nappies etc., clothes laid out for the morning so you aren't searching etc. As time goes on it just becomes second nature like the adjustment to having one baby!! i dont think i would be able to do it if it we're me like...but suppose in time you'd get used to going out with your 2 kiddies together. bet in a few months time you'll be wondering why you were worrying.

CAn you get your cot bed earlier? I am asuming it is for Harrison?

If it is I would get it sooner so Harrison gets used to it NOW and into a new routine. He may see the baby as stealing HIS bed if you get it to close to baby being born. Don't try to make HUGE changes in Harrison routine etc just before or after baby arrives.

You will be fine, When I have my nephews I always make sure I have a bag packed for going out with all the necessary bits in it (wipes, nappies) and I never use it when we are in the house. Then when we have been out I just replace what I have used.

Had not thought about it taking H a while to get use to it, i was going to leave it as the cot for a few months first anyway

Maybe thats a good idea mind you
