TTC Child No 3 !!!

Hi everyone, i am TTC, and i am juat wondering when the best time is to do a test my period is due on friday !

Well firstly, welcome to JP and good luck TTC. I am Mandy mum of two. I would have to say, personally i would try and wait until at least friday before doing a test hun. Even though there are a few early predictor tests that say they can detect the hormone present up to 5days early they also state you may not get a positive at this stage. If you do a test early and you get a negative, you will be tempted to keep taking tests until at least friday anyway. It can end up costing a fortune. I really hope you get the positive you want hun! Thanks hun for your advice, i get so impatient, its horrible waiting! are you TTC? ive only just joined so im trying to work out all the abbreviations!

Hey hun, i am not trying to conceive myself - my two luvlies are enough for me at the moment - but i do know how easy it is to get carried away with the testing lark! I had a friend who took a test every day through the whole of her cycle just to make sure. It cost her a fortune, luckily it only took her 3mths to conceive but that was still around 90tests worth! lol

As for the abbreviations if you look in the general forum there is a topic called Abbreviations and FAQ's this should help you understand them a bit better. Sorry i didn't just post a link, i am a bit of a techniphobe myself and don't know how too - i must find out! lol Xx
