A sort of funny thing happened this afternoon.... Aaralyn and I were listening to some music on my myspace page, when she is looking at the picture slide show on my profile and then proceeds to say "mommy, why do you have the word F*CK (she said it, didn't spell it) on your music page (that's what she calls it now)?" ummmmmmm Shocked I forget that she has become a superb reader recently and if she doesn't know a word she will sound it out very well Wink

see my profile, bout mid way down and you'll understand more...

oh and we had a good little talk abouit it, a serious one and I think she understood why I have that on there and why it's still not ok for her to say that word or for me to use it in front of her... after I explained to her what the word can mean sometimes (in the context that it was on my profile) and she agrees with the banner (with out saying it out loud LOL)... I should just copy and paste that little thing in the pet hates thread because those are lots of mine LOL!

Jas knows that there are 'those words' out there but she knows not to use them. I have did call someone a f**kwit the other day when we were driving along as they pulled out on me and apologised to her. She said that was ok and she knew I must be angry to have said it and not to worry, she knows it's a bad thing. I felt so guilty! Embarassed

Frank swears a lot, I hate it, he swears around the children too, Jamie tends to just repeat it after Frank has said it as he knows its naughty, but Mikey had started using them in sentences, like telling his teacher to p*ss off, so now its sugar honey ice tea.

I was in a panic the other day thinking Lolly had remembered something that she heard a long time ago. When she was around 2 we were out in town and there were a couple of wonan standing in the shop aisle gossiping. As we passed one of the said 'f Angry ing hell' Well lolly repeated it when we got home Shocked I tried to ignore it and when she realised it didn't get any response she just gave up.

The other day lolly woke me up calling over her stairgate in her bedroom (we are in a bungalow and because we have a dog i use a gate on her room so she can't terrorise him at night or early morning. He has never shown any signs of agression but i don't want to take the chance) anyhow, she starting calling 'mummy, mummy i want f Angry ing troller? I thought i had missheard and got up to see what all the fuss was about and she said it again. I told her she must not say words like that and started explaining why when she said 'but mummy, i really want my f Angry ing troller. Eventually i worked out she was actually trying to say 'fat controller' (anyone who has children who like thomas the tank will no who i mean) she couldn't pronounce it right and that was what was coming out! lol. Catastrophe averted Very happy Xx
