.... tell me "what ever" when I told her she needed to pick up her stuffed animals and put them in her room so I could vacuum the floor Mad

Guess who's in time out right now? Wink doing this Crying going to have a talk with her about the attitude now!

Is this how it is when they are almost 6?? I don't think it's flyin with this mama!!

Lol, sorry Tam, i can just imagine that cute little face saying 'whatever!' I bet it was said with such attitude too! Where do they get these things from? Wink I bet with the cutest face Aaralyn has it will be hard to stay angry with her for long too! hehe Xx

Honestly Mandy, I did have to turn my face away for a second so she couldn’t see my initial reaction of thinking how funny she sounded when she said it… but, I can’t have her getting away with talking to me like that and then carrying that on to school or with other people… she’s really been trying to act grown up lately, we have only 10 more days of her being 5, I don’t want her to be 10 before she’s 6 LOL Wink

You are completely right hun and i definitely would have done the same thing with Lolly! Smile
But i just know how hard it must have been to keep a straight face. Lolly does it to me all the time, half of you just wants to burst into laughter and the other half knows they have to be punished and you will just encourage the behaviour if you laugh. It is soooo hard sometimes though, especially if someone else is around who is also trying hard to keep a straight face! Xx

I know exactly what you mean LOL!! She's just now told me she's "going to just die" if she has to blow her nose one more time Wink that one I couldn't let her see me giggle either because she was very serious (and oh so dramatic!)

Jas shrugs and says "yeah" when I ask her to do such a thing. It doesn't get any better Wink She will do it in the end though..mostly cos I go in with a bin bag and threaten to throw things away if she doesn't Very happy

Martha rolls her eyes and announces 'I hate God for giving me this cold' - I have lost track of the times I've had to walk away or turn and giggle - they are just so melodramatic sometimes Wink
