Tonight we could have a first!! Denis might be staying at my nan's for the night. Summer has gone to stay there since she was about 5 months old but I never felt I could ask my grand parents to have both kids over night. Well now at 18 weeks pregnant with number 3 I've decided that he is going to have to stay there at some point so we may as well give it a try to get him used to it and see how they cope with the two of them. Supposedly I'm taking them both there about 4pm today and they are both staying the night. I know he might make abit of fuss at first as he's not used to it but I can't leave it until I'm in labour this time and have to deal with that and settling him with my grand parents so I'm hoping they can maybe go one night a month now to get him settled. IF it works tonight this will be my first child free night in nearly 3 years!!! I wonder how it will feel in the morning to just wake up rather than being woken up!! But it's not happened yet so I'll let you know how it goes.

Aww good luck hun. Sounds like a great idea, especially if your grandparents are going to have them when you are in labour with no.3. I think you are being very sensible. I know how you feel about the child free night too. Lolly was 3 in Jan and since the day she was born i have had no more than around 4hr childfree, and that was with me working part-time twice a week and they were with their aunty.

Jas used to love staying away at relatives for the night and slept over at friends from quite a young age. I hope he enjoys it and has fun Very happy

Well it's 7.37pm and I left there at about 4.45. They were playing happily and getting ready to go to the chip shop when I left. Not got any special plans for tonight but really looking forward to a lay in tomorrow. It's been very quiet without them both away though, I feel I should be doing something!

yes, you should be doing something: Relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet, that's what you should do!! Very happy

Enjoy your sleeping late tomorrow too!! (I am soooo envious!)

Well we did it! It worked! All happy! Steve and I did something last night which we haven't done in years-no nothing kinky! We went to bed and layed in the dark with the music on, we used to do that all the time when we were first together, it was so relaxing just cuddled up with music coming from the dark surroundings. This morning he brought my cereal to me in bed Shocked and I got up at 10 for a shower. I spoke to my nan and the kids on the phone earlier, nan is bringing the kids up on the bus at 12.30 so I'm going to walk the dog in a while then wait for them at the bus stop as a surprise. But it all went ok and now I know that we can try again in the future Very happy
