Hi there hun. I know this is going to sound harsh, but personally i think you have to be 100% comitted to making her stop and not to give in. I also have a daughter who has just turned 3 and up until before christmas she still had a dummy (not sure what you call them in Canada? Maybe Pacifier?) very occaionally if she napped during the day. I wanted her to stop using it so we told her santa was taking her dodo's (her name for them) away to give to the little babies that needed them, and that he would leave her a present in their place. It workes a treat

Although she asked once ar twice after then, we just said 'now where are your dodo's' and she would say 'santa took them to give to the babies.' We then said 'yes, santa gave them to the babies because they need them as they are only little, but you are a big girl now so you don't need them, do you' She was fine with this and would just say 'i'm a big girl now, aren't i mum!'

lol I know christmas is over, but you could use the same idea and tell her the fairy is coming to take her bottle and she will leave her a small thankyou present and take her bottle/s to a baby/ies that need them. It is surprising how much they understand. Once you have taken it away, no matter how much fuss is made to have it back, i would say be strong and ignore it. Just repeat what happened to it/them and she will eventually just accept it hun. As for the drink, we don't let Lolly drink a lot before bed for the same reason. Then we put her on the toilet before bed and9/10times she is dry in the morning? She has been in knickers for around two months at night now and we have had 3accidents in that time. You will get there in the end hun, just stay strong and be firm!! Xx
