Had a little scare....

I was at work yeseterday and about 11am i started getting period pains, then other pains too and started feeling very poorly. I thought it was SPD symptoms/sciatica again but then the pains gradually got worse over two hours and i was in agony. So i told my manager i was going home as i was practically in tears - she just looked a the clock - so i called Mark anyway.

I started getting contractions every 15 mins, and then every 5 Shocked , i rang my MW team and was met with a really rude lady who told me that i had to ring 'the other number' and when i asked her what number that would be she just tutted and told me that as i wasn't due yet they cannot help and to call it, after asking again she told me which number i needed. Crazy

I rang the number and it was the dlievery suite Confused who told me to come straight in...got there and Mark dropped me off as there was no where to park. Andf he ended up parking half hour walk away - lol

I did a urine sample and found a blood loss so they strapped me up to the monitor and called a DOC, thankfully the contractions stoppped an then slowed but the protein in my urine showed 4+ and they are really concerned but BP etc is fne, so they have sent sample and bloods off to be tested.

I had to have two internal examinations, one to see if i was likely to go into labour in the next week (a new test and thankfuly no!)

I was there for 3 hours, but all apart from my protein is fine. So i have to do a 24 hour urine collection (you should see the size of my container - LMAO - it's huge) and pop that in after 3.30 today, and then i have to go and see a consultant on Monday for results of that.

I feel fine this morning and thankfully have no pains...but boy was that scary....

OMG hun, I bet you were sooooo scared, Thank god it all turned out ok. That lady sounded soo rude too. why do some people feel it is there right to talk tous like that. I had one at the delivery suite when i rang in labour with Jake Mad ! I hope you are at home relaxing? Maybe you should start your mat leave a few days early? I do think they have been making you work a bit too hard at your point in pregnancy hun Sad Face !
Fingers crossed all comes back ok with the urine collection and bloods. Make sure you let us know how you go hun. Just you tell that baby of yours it is too early yet and not to make an early appearance lol. . . and keep your legs crossed! haha Kiss Kiss Xx

OMG! Hope you are taking it easy- I reckon you should finish earlier too, they can't exactly say anything if you had to be admitted to hospital. Tounge Out

We both seem to be having a dodgy week, don't we?! Kiss

This'll bring a smile to your face tho- had an e-mail from TRU today and they have offered me free delivery on my next order as a gesture... I thanked them but added "Hope it's not the same delivery driver as last time!" Teeth

I would have preferred vouchers but I suppose it's better than nothing.

OMG, I had a day with really bad contractions with Denis at about 7 months where I thought I was in labour and didn't know what to do. But that was because he was laying transverse for many weeks and the MW said my body was trying to turn him. It was scary though!

Hope you are ok and don't have any more scares.
