I'm in pain again today after work and i sat down as much as i possibly could!

I seem to have quite alot of pain around my lower pelvis, pubic bone upper thigh area. I mean it really hurts when i move my right leg, ie walking up the stairs or changing sitting position, lifting my leg etc, getting in and out of the car....IS THIS NORMAL???

I think it is the ligaments stretching more, ready for babies arrival hun. I was in terrible pain towards the end. But tbh the pain was there for nearly all of my 2nd pregnancy. I had a mild case of SPD apparently? Maybe you should go and check with your midwife if it keeps up hun. Could be youhave developed spd too? Or could just be your hormones making the ligaments much loser like they are supposed too ready for birth. Even could be because you overdid it at work the other day and you have pulled yourself a bit? If your leg gets hot, red or swollen though hun, i would go straight to midwife as it can be a sign of thrombosis! Hope it doesn't get any worsefor you hun Kiss Xx

Could be a touch of sciatica hun. I had this with Sophie and it's a killer. Couldn't get off the loo a few times without rolling onto the floor Embarassed Worth getting it checked with your MV in case it is SPD as suggested though.

I had sciatica at 8 months with Gem, but it thankfully only lasted a day or 2- she was probably just lying awkward! I haven't had SPD, but wonder if I may get it this time as this morning found it quite painful ayound my pelvic area when I tried to get up. Suspect

I had that near the end of my pregnancies when baby was getting big and pucshing in awkward places. The idwife said it was the pressure of the baby and the softening ready for birth but it bloody hurt!!
