Had Bens review at school yesterday

everyone is sooo pleased with his progress.

where ben is behind in his development and a few ppl are involved in helping him we have a review every 3-4 months with the school. since the last review (september last year) he has progressed brilliantly his speech has come on leaps and bounds and you can practically have a conversation with him now. his confidence and social skills are becoming more and hes interacting with other children which is brill as just last sept he wouldnt stand too near another child let alone play with one. now he walks hand in hand with his friend jessica and plays along with other kids.

still got a way to go in other aspects. toilet training is a bit of a nightmare but weve been given a few different ways to try with him so hopefully something will work and were waiting on a referral to the psycologist regarding his eating (or lack of) but yeah really pleased and so proud of our little man

Awww hun, that is absolutely fantastic Well done Ben You should be proud! Sounds as though things are starting to click into place for him now. Also sounds as though the school are doing a great job in helping him along the way, which is just great. So often we hear bad things about schools, it is nice to hear some positive news about a school for a change! I have my fingers crossed everything continues along the way it is going hun and Ben carries on making such great progress! Xx

thank hun. the school have been absolutely amazing. we were a little concerned when he started as the head of special needs left and left them in a bit of a pickle but theyve been fab. and helen (i love this woman lol) is just the best. she works with autistic children usually but what she does with the kids is just fab and ben loves her too

Well done Ben you must be so pleased Stacey.Let me know how you get on with the food issue's i need some help with that one also as Vic is still on a limited diet of nearly nothing
