what does a show look like?

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and was just about to go to bed and noticed a 2 inch line of blood on the sheets. Could this be a show? Does it sound like I should worry? Have not had any more bleeding today, baby has been moving loads last night (kept me awake for first time) and today.
Need advice!! thanks xx

my show was a HUGE plug of bloody mucus. It was horrible.
I would phone your MW and let them know just to be on the safe side.
Iagree with Alex hun. I would phone your midwife just to be on the safe side. It doesn't sound much like a show to me though hun. A show isn't usually just a streak of blood. Could be anything so don't panic. Is great that baby has been moving loads and if youhave had no more bleeding it doesn't sound like anything too urgent hun. Could you even have scratched yourself in the night or something? Let us know how it goes hun, but i'm sure you'll be fine!

Thanks for your help, I phoned the midwife and she thought it was changes in the cevix but to keep an eye on it. seems ok so far, hopefully just a little hiccup!! x
Hope it's just a little bit if discharge hunni!
I really cannot remember having a show the first time around!?

I had a moment of blood recently too - this weekend. Scared me a bit and because I am rhesus negative I had to go in to the hospital to get an Anti D injection.
Apparently, so the midwife says, I might be one of thoese lucky women who gets a small bit of a show every month when my period would be due. Nice.
Anyway - glad yours was nothing to worry about. It is always a bit scary when things like that happen. I was quite worried myself.

If you can feel little one moving I would think it's ok but take it easy for a couple of days.
