Ive got a tooth infection

had to go to the emergency dentist today. its in my wisdom tooth so they wont take it out. im on 2 different antibiotics

Oh no poor you. Why wont they take it out? Many people get their wisdom teeth out.

i know and i was a bit annoyed as i have had one taken out by an emergency dentist before. but they said the as the roots are bigger on a wisdom tooth they can be very near to nerves and the tooth can also break. i think personally she was quite a new dentist so was maybe too scared to jusy yank it out IYKWIM

Oh hun, It must be horrible, i hate toothache! I hope the antibiotics start to work soon hun. I don't know how you managed to concentrate making your gingerbread shapes? I don't think i would have been able too? Xx

i think making the gingerbread took my mind off the pain a bit. i had offered to help this morning with bens xmas party but asked if i didnt cause of the tooth pain. i felt awful though like id let them down annnnnnnnnnnnd not only have i got a tooth infection ive woken today with a cold and horrible cough. oh well atleast it will be out of the way before xmas

Reminded me of my days with intelli-tooth. Though, I never was rightly diagnosed. That's because I was too lazy to go to a doctor. Whenever I had ache in my last tooth on either side of the jaw. My mom predicted that it's the arrival of the wisdom tooth. The adults in my family would also tease me a lot back in the day. That now I'm growing old and sane. And that I better start acting it. Most of the dentist said that it is not advisable to remove the wisdom tooth specially if it aches. I'm not sure why but it is something about the roots of the teeth, maybe it is dangerous to just remove it if your tooth is aching. But I already encountered some dentist before when I am still young, they still remove my wisdom teeth even if it is aching.
