its her throat that is hurting her. I gave her motrin... as much as she would swallow. If the ped. does not call in the next 10 mins then we are taking her to the emergency room. I wanted to avoid that. I know so many people are sick and don't want to expose her to more there. It is so hard this age... she can't say
and hearing her scream in misery is so hard. UPDATE
Well, my wonderful DH took Kel to the ER himself so I would not have to go and get stressed there and be exposed to sick people. Not that I was not stressed so worried about my babygirl here at home, but I am supposed to be on bed rest. Anyway, my poor babygirl has tonsillitis!!!
And a mild ear infection. Her tonsils apparently are very inflammed. She is just 12 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
The ER doc said it is not uncommon at such a young age. So we are to call our ped tomorrow and most likely see an ear, nose and throat soon. Meantime he put her on Amoxicillin and she can take motrin and tylenol alternatly for the fever and pain. They gave her the first dose of the amox in the ER. My DH is so great taking such good care of her. 
She is sleeping here next to me now, all stuffed up. I will probably not get much sleep I am so concerned and will be having my eye on her. The Dr said she does not have to eat so much as drink. She can't get dehydrated. So we have her formula, pedialyte, baby apple juice, and popsicles. My poor baby. My poor DH... he has 2 babies to take care of... Kel and me... he is so so great. 
Just thought I would update while she is sleeping. Thanks for the thoughts..... I really like being here and will try to read more when I can. You all are terrific.
