implantation bleed but not sure

hi i have had 3 kids already and never had an implantation bleed before. i am on the pill but i am really bad a taking it and forget regulary i had a so called period about 12 days ago but it was not like my normal periods there were a few spots of red when i wiped at first then it turned browny and it was only there when i wiped and it lasted for about 3 to 4 days. but yesterday i went to the loo and the was a really deep red on the tissue then about an hour later it was brown and very little. as the day went on it stopped and then this morning it was there again a little and brown i am not sure if i should do a test or not i have stopped taking the pill just in case do you think it is an implantation bleed. any advice would be gratefull as this has never happened to me before thanks

im not sure if this is an implantation bleed or not but i would do a test to put your mind at rest...this definately doesnt sound normal so if ur not pregnant i would go to your gp to find out what's going on...good luck

thanks but since writing this i have started to bleed more heavily it's like the period i had before wasn't real and this is it is like all my other periods. i am going to stay off the pill though for a month and see what happens. i am a little disapointed though would love another baby. thanks for the advice

it took about 3 months before the pill left my system to get pregnant,implantation bleeds tend to be brown or pinkish discharge never red and only last a couple of days

depending on what pill you are on and other factors, the pill can cause disrupted or strange mentrual patterns. I'm on cerazette at the moment and it has stopped my periods altogether.
I recomend doing a a test in a few weeks if your still not entirely sure, and if it says not pregnant it might be worth going to see your GP and asking if it's likely that the pill is causing your disrupted periods.

i was on the pill but happened. ave done 5 test all postive so...... i made an appoitment with the doctor for tues of next week (9th) so we'll see

i had a spot of blood on wednesday but bye thursday morning it was alittle brown then nothing after that.
