why is there bowling balls

Joseph is in the bath and has just asked me this question. Me being naive it took a minute or 2 to work out what he was talking about!!!

I tried to be truthful and say that when he is a man they will be useful and they are needed to help make babies,
to which he replied, No mummy, only mummy's have babies!!!!
