could take ages! i think mine tok quite a few months with DS1 and i remember them being like they had bricks in em and felt quite bruised when i lay on them! the problem is, just touching them or a hot shower will encourage your flow again and so its this that takes the time... i remember having no leaks for a few days and so went out with breastpads... and typically one boobed soaked me!! how embaressing lol!!

Yeah could take upto a month, because a production has to stop and a lot of times certain things trigger your milk to leak, therefore prolonging ur milk production.

lol, so true houseofblue, know what ya mean about that Embarassed

Got bad news for ya babe, it could take longer than a month.... I actually was producing a very small amount of breast milk in my right breast even after Aaralyn was 4 1/2 yrs old (stopped BF when she was 8 months!!)

The Dr's even did tests to make sure it was breast milk and not some other kind of bad fluid. I finally have stopped producing milk now! Good luck hun I hope your's dry up very soon!

Wow, that what a long time to produce milk for Tammy. I didn't even know you could produce milk for that long if you weren't using it?

I was producing milk for about 2mths after i stopped BF jake, and i didn't manage to feed him for that long, as he wanted to feed constantly. With lolly to look after too, i found that really hard. I mixed fed until he was around 3mths. Then he was put on formula. So you sound perfectly normal to me to still be leaking after only a week hun. I hope it doesn't take you too long to dry up Kiss Xx

i think it can take about a few weeks, try cabbage leaves in the bra, it helps with the engorgement, they take the sting out of it.

My MW suggested it and it works beelive me!!!

Good luck Kiss

My friend fed her DD til she about 18mths and she still was producing some milk when she was nearly 6 Shocked

Joseph wouldn't take to me (I expressed for the 3-4days and he was cup fed) and it still took about a month for me to completely dry up.
