hi everyone ive just registered on this site and looking for advice.

i had a miscarriage in sept (only 5 weeks no d&c) it wasnt planned but partner and i were so upset at the loss but decided its what we really want so agreed to try again.
i have a regular 28 day cycle and can sort of tell approx when i ovulate its round about day 14-15.
my partner has started working extremely long hours so as you can guess his sex drive has lowered something rotten and we have gone from having sex 2-3 times a week to once. this is so frustrating as i feel im never going to conceive.!!
my last period was 6th october so should have ovulated around 19th or 20th. we had sex on 18th. i tried to entice him to have sex on 20th too but he was having none of it!!! (whats a girl gotto do eh!!!)
what do you think my chances would be of catching the night of the 18th? i know im probably being really impatient and should just wait to see if AF comes on 3/11 but im not!!! breasts have been sore from ovulation (that normally only lasts a day) is that a very small indication or maybe im just obsessed!
i would really appreciate any advice or any stories of when people thought they conceived (at what time of cycle)

anyway thanks for reading and good luck to all who are TTC xx

Hi,
I read your message and it struck a nerve with me! Im interested as to how you are getting on as I am trying for a baby, and like yourself, I had a loss, early on , after IVF. I have a son 16, I'm 34, but it seems that all of a sudden there are problems!!! I didn't even try the last time (I was 18). What goes on with our bodies between babies? However I do realize that in my case it is 16 long years, but we have been trying for another for 4 years! You can read about it on the forum if you want. Any way I am interested in how you are getting on and if you have been given any advice that you could pass on. I just feel as if i am getting more questions from experts than answers.

I hope we can be of help to oneanother.
Thanks JEA

hi there,

well since i posted that back in october i have had another 3 miscarriages. that month i did get my bfp but unfotunately m/c at 6 weeks. i like you had no problems conceiving my daughter 9 years ago (i was only 20) amd its only now that im faced with all these problems! im currently having lots of tests done to try to determine why i m/c so early on too, they have all been at 4, 5 or 6 weeks. ive tried every vitamin under the sun! and now ive been told by my consultant i have to stop TTC for at least 3 months while these test are being carried out. that has upset me a little bit but i know i have to have these tests done to get some answers!!!!
sometimes its so hard to deal with but im so desperate for a baby that i have to carry on!
i thought by now i would be nicely heavily pregnant!!!!!
how are you coping with it all? i found it a real shock to the system because i never expected to have problems.
thanks for your reply xxxx
