Update on school meeting

O.K so the social worker is not with CFS but with the Childrens Guidance Clinic. She just wanted to know some stuff about Candra and is going to work with Candra on her social behavior.
I needn't worry no more!

But yesterday, I had my first phone call from the principal. Candra had hurt a boy at recess. He's o.k but Candra spent the rest of the afternoon in the office. Why me?I feel like I'm raising a little bully even though she normally isn't too violent. But this is the second timethis school year that she hurt someone. On the other hand she got hurt from a boy, too. The teacher explained that because everyone's starting grade one, there are alot of adjustments with the work load and peers. Hopefully it will get better. I don't need her having a behavior disorder on top of the development disorder claims we're getting.

I'm sure she is just trying to settle in to the new changes hun, try not to worry too much. Most kids scrap at some point or another. Have you tried asking her why she hurt the lad? Perhaps she had a reason? Although it isn't acceptable for her to hurt other children perhaps if she can explain to you why she did it, you can explain to her how she should have handled the situation instead? Xx
