My little Angel Halo is starting to bite my nipples Angry so I have decided that this week shall be her last. But why do I feel so Upset upset. I know my hubby is looking forward to being able to hug me without me wincing.

Yes she is 4months but she loves being in her high chair.

I had major breast feeding problems as well and not being able to afford formula easily was the only reason I kept it up. It was after about several weeks of pain that I started to enjoy it agian.
If you really feel that you cannot handle it, then, by all means, stop. Your baby is not going to suffer from bottle feeding.

Awwwwwwww hun she is sooooo cute Love
I couldnt breast feed my DS this time at all but i do remember feeling a pang of sadness when i had to stop after a month with my first DS.I personally think feeding time be it with breast or bottle is a bonding time for mums and dads.My DH enjoys his night feed's with our DS when i go to bed. This is there special "daddy son" time.During the day i enjoy looking into my DS eyes while he happily gulps his formula down. Love

Tams she's sooooo cute!! She looks like such a happy baby! I think you've done good by her! I hope the weaning goes smoothly for both of you even though it is a kind of sad time Kiss I missed breastfeeding so much when Aaralyn stopped, had she not weaned herself I would have kept doing it till who knows when so it's probably good she stopped herself Wink (at 8 months).

Oh my gosh hun, she is just soooo gorgeous Love It looks like you have done a fantastic job BF so far hun. If you feel it is time to stop then don't beat yourself up over it. you will still have great bonding moments with her bottle feeding and as has been said that way you can see her beautiful eyes and face while feeding her and have the added advantage of knowing how much she has had Very happy ! I think we all feel guilty when it is time to stop whatever their age Wink . My friend is trying to stop at the moment but keeps reverting back to her bedtime feed as she feels so guilty, and her DD is 19mths now! Xx
