my 21 week scan results !!

Hi guys found out today that im having a little boy very exited.
but am worried as they found that baby has echogenic cardiac focus on his heart been told not to worry as it will dissapear b4 baby is born but am still worried as any other mum to be would. but so happy that he is healthy in every other way and every thing is there that should be.

Not sure exactly what that condition meand hun? But doesn't sound too concerning from the doctors point of view, so please try not to worry too much! How exciting for you to know its a blue one Bet you'll be off shopping at the 1st opportunity now hun! Xx

aahhh i just cant wait to see my little man thanks all for your repleys girls. every 1 does seem to be having little boys my friend is going to give birth any day now and hers is a boy.
Im even looking faward to giving birth and the whole experiance i must be made ha ha.
i just cant wait to go shopping but not sure when i can go yet as i have no car bless me and im really wonting to go im so inpatiant lol thanks again girls

Wow, does this bring back memories. I was TERRIFIED when they told me this about my daughter and when I read all the correlations with that and trisomy 21 (Down's Syndrome). But I can tell you I found a website where TONS of parents posted, many of whom came back and said their child turned out just fine. My daughter was just fine too. More than fine, she is 4.5 years old and perfectly healthy. I stressed about this so much...I hope you don't. In the absence of any other findings, it would be extremely rare for this to mean anything at all.

Congrats on your pregnancy. I think your son will be just fine.

PS: You and I could have had an EIF, but who would have known? Also -- not that it matters, but my daughter's never resolved like they said it might.

aww congratulations!! little boys are fab!! Iv never heard of the thing they have found with babies heart but if they say it will correct itself then im sure everything will be ok. All the best with the rest of your pregnancy
