Personally I think it's ok, if you only have high-lights the chemicals don't even touch your scalp.
Hmmm? I am a bit undecided on this one. I do think they tell you this just to be cautious but i have to admit i didn't colour my hair in either of my pregnancies just to be on the safe side. I do agree that highlights would probably be fine though hun. I can't see how this could hurt when the chemicals don't even touch any skin? Xx
well my cousin is training to be a hair dresser and is in her 2nd year so i get things done for free, she wants me to go in on monday for cut and colour but not sure if she wants all over colour of high lights

I coloured my hair when I was pregnant- I had never even heard that you couldnt until I joined here
I don't think it's supposed to be bad now... I think it was years ago there was something in red hair dye that could cause birth defects, to the best of my knowledge that has been done away with now... red dye number something??
Well i got it done, she did dark underneath and then blonde highlights and has also put my layers back in and guess how much it cost?

WHAT!!!!! OMG I am glad I live away up here.
I go to the old womens hairdresser in town but she has a really good young lassie who works there and I pay £38MAX for a full head of colour and highlights and a cut and blow dry and I have thich hair. I would be about £45 if I went to the more trendy place.

I could only wish to find some one half decent to do my high lights for £50-£80. I pay about £100 and thats half a head in Leamington. Did find someone mobile coming round my house for £70 but she did not get so close and had to have it done more often so it defeated the object. Anyone in Warwickshire know of a decent cheaper hairdresser let me know???
£4.50 though you lucky thing.
I always had my hair done when i was pregnant, my high lights that is, sure its fine

This is the first time i had to pay aswell, have you got a hair dressing college as they need models to practise on
Get your names down at the big name hairdressers as a model, you get it done for a tip
