2 months...no period yet?

Hey guys.
I haven't had my period in two months. I took a test earlier this week and I got a negative. (but it was the cheapest one and a brand I've never heard of... Suspect

I don't feel much different then I have, but (and i don't know if this is possible) but my boyfriend asked me the other day if I was gaining weight because my lower belly is sticking out a little. I don't think it would happen that quick though, right?

I guess, my question is, have any of you every missed two periods in a row and had it turn out to be nothing? Blink Suspect

I havent had a period for 7weeks(thought I had started the other day but nothing came off it) and I know I am NOT pregnant . I have been watching what I eat and have lost a few lbs and that has mucked my system up a bit, the same happens when I put weight back on.

I would see your doctor if you are worried or think you might be pregnant.

I'm 8 1/2 weeks pregnant (so missed 2 periods) and have definitely put on weight just on my tummy - some people do earlier than others (everyone in my family 'shows' pretty early). Do another test, i would, get a clearblue digital that gives you words instead of lines. or go and see your gp. Let us know! Smile

do you normally have regular periods? and do you use contraception? or have you had a slip up? or do you not use protection? these are all things to be concidered as starting certain contraceptives (or other medication couls affect your periods Suspect I would have thought it would show up on a test if you were 8 weeks gone but go to doc if you're not sure

Hi hun, i would do another test, just be be sure and if this one also shows negative then i would go to docs and tell him/her that you haven't had a period for 2mths and that you aren't pregnant. There are a few things that could also cause you to miss a period. Including being over or under weight and stress. If you have been TTC for a while maybe it is you worrying and stressing that is stopping your AF arriving? Suspect Xx

I've missed 2 periods for no apparent reason before. i would have thought it would have shown up on any test by now whether cheap or not. If you still aren't convinced maybe ask the dr for a blood test to make extra sure Smile x

Hun, didn't you just go through this about 3 months ago?? The best way to find out is to take a blood test at the Doctors, can't be a false negative that way.... good luck to you...

Yeah. I was on here a few months ago. Embarassed

The day before my blood test though (I did end up telling my mom) I had terrible pain on my side and I bled a little and I went to the Hospital and it was a big mess. I had to have a CAT scan and it's just a weird, long story. Unsure

It's nice to be on here again. Thank you everyone. I will keep you posted. Smile

And I have been on the Depo shot for seven months and I havn't had a problem with it. And I havn't been stressed (I think Confused ) I did start college though (yay! Crazy ) and I joined a Sorority (Kappa Alpha Theta) and it has been a blast! It's nothing like the movies though, these girls are DEFINANTLY my "sisters". It's great!

I also agree with Tam,the best thing to do is go and have a blood test that way they can let you know what is going on and maybe find out why you are skipping periods.
I go through stages of getting my period regular like right on time to the day,or only having them once or twice a year but i know mine are/were due to weight and stress issues. Suspect
