Migraines and hospitals YUCK!!

Been to the hospital this morning and had to have an IV Shocked

I've had an on and off (mostly on) migraine and vomiting the last few days, I thought that I had a touch of what Aaralyn had but by last night my head hurt so bad I thought I would explode! At about 4 am I was vomiting because the migraine was so bad again and noticed there was blood in the vomit. I then noticed that my eyes were bleeding Shocked .

I got Aaralyn off to school and then Mike came and took me to the hospital. They said the blood in my vomit was because I tore a bit in the lining of my stomach and the blood in my eyes was from breaking a blood vessell, all from the throwing up I did!!

So, they put me on an IV to administer something for the pain and the nausia and now I am back home feeling no pain at all Very happy I freaking hate needles, especially ones that have to stay in you so I'm glad the drugs worked!!

Oh hon, that sounds dreadful Shocked

I suffer occasional migraines so I sympathise. Hubby have never had one so can't understand why asking me if I'm ok gets little response and keep questioning me as to if I need anything just makes me cry! Bless him.

My sister used to have them so bad she'd have 1-2 days off work per month (they were hormonally related) and just had to lie in a dark room, no noise with a bucket by the bed as she'd be so sick if she even moved an inch Sad Face

I'm glad you're back at home now. Are they something you have suffered with before? This bout sounds pretty severe.

Relax as much as you can Kiss Kiss

P.S. My pregnant brain first read IV as an abbreviation for 'interview' Teeth

Thanks guys! by the time I went to the hospital this morning, I was feeling a bit better.... I was there from about 10:30am till after 2:30pm and I do not like hospitals!! I thought I was over that after I had Aaralyn but the times she was in the hospital it was the same one where she was born so every one knew her there already, here it was a whole new yucky experience not to be done again soon Tounge Out

Krista I've had them for years and they are definately hormonally related, just so happens AF showed up extra early again, today! Wink , when it rains, right! and it is really rainy and yucky outside too LOL figures, ok, my whining is done now Halo ... I hope you're feeling better now too, my migraine is still completely gone now!! wooooop! Very happy
