food aditives and hyperactivity

hi does anyone know if certian foods make children really hyper as my soon has so much energy he dont need to be hyper more than he is sometimes hes climbin the walls but he doesnt hav a massive apertite so im lost really hav any ideas.my daughter is quite active as well

I've noticed that happen with Jas when she was younger, particularly if there were a lot of 'E' numbers in a food. I tend to try and avoid those as much as possible.

Are they as hyper when you feed them, say, grilled chicken and vegetables? If not, it sounds like it could be a food thing.

Having said all that, some kids just have boundless energy Smile

Artificial colorings have an additive that is linked to hyperactivity and ADHD.

I find anything with aspartame in it to be really bad and also some colourings are bad too
