I use Stardrops on just about everything! The bathroom, the floors, windows, counters, the bin, microwave - the lot! It has a nice but not too srong scent and really does work. I have some in a spray bottle too for ease. I can get a bottle for 89p at the local cheap shop and it lasts well. No I only get washing up liquid (you can use Stardrops but I choose not too) and bleach for the loo (although apparently you can tip cola down the loo and leave it overnight to give the loo a sparkly clean but I'm not so sure about the germs lol!).
I saves me a fortune on different sprays, creams, liquids etc and much less to store!
I use baking soda as a cleaner, whitener and deodorizer. You can use it for everything not wood or glass. But it does require rinsing. I use vinager on mirrors and windows. I have to use a wood polisher for my two matching tables because they are from my mom and are going to my daughter after me. Natural cleaning products are way more eco friendly than the other ones claiming to be "green". The vinegar smell doesn't really stay strong. Using bounce sheets around the house freshens up your place just right.
(I would not try the cola technique on toilets, colas have a corosive chemical that could erode the ceramic or porcelin when used over time.)
i dont have any tips im a mr muscle type of gal i use it on everything!
I've used the cola tip occasionally and it works but its definitely not a daily thing.
I'll have to get some baking soda in!
Soda crystals are good for drains. Its good on stains too.
Stardrops always reminds me of decorating, my mum used to get it to wash the skirting boards and walls when she decorated lol!

white vinegar and water is good for windows
